My Jerusalem

  • Theatre Deli Sheffield 202 Eyre Street Sheffield, England, S1 4QZ United Kingdom (map)

A combined-arts performance derived from a song. A politically-charged tale of a drunken one-night stand, infused with stories of growing up in 1980s Israel. A nuanced exploration of the politics of division, from internal checkpoints and separation walls to gender norms.

Support will be provided by the Interplay Collective, a group of local migrant and settled musicians who’ve been working together since May in partnership with Virtual Migrants, Sheffield Refugee Council, Migration Matters Festival Theatre Deli and Koni Music.

The show is not suitable for anyone under 18.

This show contains issues of abuse and political turmoil which may cause distress to certain audience members.
