Vibrant Voices - Songs and Stories of Sanctuary
by One World Choir

In this combined choral performance and photographic exhibition, our songs reflect our rich cultural diversity and include original compositions.  The photographs are created by choir members and shine a light on their experience of migration and life in Sheffield. Come and be inspired!

Layering Memories.层叠的记忆
by Phoebe Shu-Ching Chan

Layering Memories.层叠的记忆 is an interactive installation featuring a tree sculpture crafted from intricate red paper cuts that grows as visitors add their own creations. Beneath this evolving canopy, workshops in traditional Chinese paper-cutting provide a medium for sharing personal narratives. These individual stories blend into a collective tapestry that celebrates our shared human experience across cultural boundaries.

Wonderful Women! A Story Quilt
by Craft Camp with Women supported by Refugee Council

In 2024, community artist Sian Thomas (Craft Camp) received a grant from Tilehouse Trust to produce a creative collaborative piece of work with Refugee Women, one in Doncaster, one in Sheffield. The women each designed and created a 12 inch panel for the quilt, with the loose theme of "wonderful/super women". The quilt was sewn together and "Wonderful women - A story Quilt" was made!
