ABOUT THE EVENT
A Stand & Be Counted Theatre production in collaboration with Football Unites Racism Divides, Sheffield Home of Football and Yellow Bus Events. Supported by Counterpoints Arts and Migration Matters Festival.
Around the World is a brand new digital art-meets-football project made with people from all over the world who now call Sheffield home, to celebrate the World Cup.
The Stand & Be Counted Theatre bright yellow school bus will tour Sheffield's communities, inviting you to explore the original rules of the modern game; founded right here in our city - and make your own art works to be displayed on board the bus and beyond!
Stand & Be Counted Theatre will be touring around the city between Thursday 11 June - Tuesday 16 June with a series of community events, games and creative workshops, culminating in a dazzling celebration of everything we have created together at the Peace Gardens on Wednesday 17 June.
