ABOUT THE SHOW
In Between: Daughters of Two Worlds is a youth-led theatre project exploring what it means to grow up between cultures.
Through conversations with women in the community, the young girls uncovered stories of life growing up in Somaliland and discovered the similarities to their own experiences in the UK. These real-life stories inspire a powerful play combining drama, traditional dance, and handmade costumes created by the girls themselves. The performance celebrates identity, heritage, and belonging, while building a bridge between generations.
In Between is a moving reflection on family, culture, and the strength of young voices telling the stories that shape who they are.
