ABOUT THE EVENT
Join Annie Anthony Mays and the Sanctuary Artists for an arts and crafts workshop at the Sanctuary.
They will be helping craft, make and create in a safe space as part of this welcoming and inclusive Refugee Week arts session.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
British Asian artist, Annie Anthony Mays, has been living in Sheffield for 40 years. Originally from Singapore, Annie learnt many creative skills from her father, who was an artist, architect and sculptor.
The use of colour and bringing joy to people are vital aspect of Annie’s work. Her artworks are colourful, explosive, express connection and the experience of the moment.
Annie also volunteers with Refugees and Asylum Seekers, and is a member of One World Choir.
