ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us for the Migration Pub Quiz!
Bring your pub team or join us solo to challenge your knowledge on migration and asylum. Everyone is welcome in this friendly and inclusive environment, where the aim is to learn more about migration and asylum in the UK and around the world, while also debunking common misconceptions about these topics.
The winning team will receive a prize, and we'll also award a prize for the most creative team name.

Please Note: It is advised teams have no more than 3 people.
Event Format & Information
18:00 - Doors open, attendees arrive and find a seat
18:00-20:30 - Main event happens
20:30 - Event ends, although attendees can leave at any time.
The event will start with welcome talk
The quiz host will read out the questions and present them on projector screen.
Teams will be seated at tables where they can have drinks that can be bought at the bar. The bar sells both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Every team will be given answer sheets and pens.
Seating: Unreserved seating is available at this event, but if you have specific requirements, please get in touch.
Audio: Noise will be at a conversational level. Free earplugs are available at the ticket desk.
Lighting: Neutral to bright pub lighting.
Projections / lasers / visual effects: A projected live video feed will be used at specific moments during the performance (e.g. embroidery table and food preparation).
Quiet space: There is no dedicated quiet space at this venue.

Dr Patricia Nabuco Martuscelli is a Lecturer in International Relations and Director of the Migration Research Group at the University of Sheffield. Dr Martuscelli teaches and researches migration and asylum topics.
