ABOUT THE SHOW
In 2024, community artist Sian Thomas (Craft Camp) received a grant from Tilehouse Trust to produce a creative collaborative piece of work with Refugee Women. We worked with two Refugee Council women's groups- one in Doncaster and one in Sheffield. The women each designed and created a 12 inch panel for the quilt, with the loose theme of "wonderful/super women"- (a title which the group collectively decided on). The quilt was sewn together and "Wonderful women - A story Quilt" was made!
