ABOUT THE SHOW
‘Anansi & The Lost Sun’ is a part of Mini MigMat, where we present a range of events specifically for our younger audiences. This play is suited for all ages (and an accompanying adult).
When darkness falls across the land, Lion calls for a hero to restore the light. Will it be the mighty Eagle, the clever Monkey - or Anansi the Spider and his friends?
This joyful, 50-minute OFFIE-nominated puppet show is filled with laughter, music, and adventure. Blending exquisite puppetry with original West African music specially composed by Mossi Kunde, it celebrates courage, wit, and the power of community.
Rooted in the rich Anansi storytelling tradition - shared across Africa, the Caribbean, and the UK - this enchanting performance offers young audiences an inspiring, inclusive cultural experience they won’t forget.
